New Look – More Content to Follow
I hope you like the new easy to navigate look to my site. There is so much media from which to communicate a message these days, but if you don’t use it, it does no good. If you notice, I’ve adopted a new header to my site. That is really what my radio show, blog, seminars, video production and other venues is really all about. By starting a conversation whether it be over the radio, the internet (blog posts and such) or engaging each other through seminars, speaking, training and such, once the back and forth begins, we can connect on one level or another and once the connection is made that is when we are really communicating. We communicate ideas, strategies, solutions and more. Let me hear what you think from time to time. Look for more frequent content coming to this site in the form of blog posts both written and video, audio from my radio show and more. Hope you enjoy it and spread the word.

Reagan On Healthcare
It has been an amazing week on my radio show. I came across a clip on YouTube of then private citizen Ronald Reagan. The year was 1962 and he was extolling the dangers of socialized medicine. The audio recording lasts 10 minutes and should be heard by everyone in this country. The response from my radio audience has been extraordinary. To say that Ronald Reagan spoke as a prophet well before his time would be an understatement. I could go on and on, but the very best way for you to spend your time is not to read my thoughts but hear from the man himself. Let me know your thoughts and please spread this link to as many people as possible.
Back on track
I’m making a concerted effort to be or consistent with this blog and posting. As you can tell, there is a new look and feel to the site. Doing my best to keep it simple and easy to navigate. You can also link off of this site to my podcast where I upload radio shows from time to time in case you missed any or wanted to listen again. I also invite to you to sign up on Twitter to follow me by searching for ‘jeffwhitaker’, one word. I send out updates on radio guests and other thoughts and musings. Gee, thanks Mom! What that points out to me is that even span class=”Apple-style-span” style=”font-style: italic;”she/span realizes her son doesn’t appeal to a lot of the GOP despite his increasing reference to the Reagan Revolution and pandering to the Right. Strange how so many main -stream media pundits refer to McCains broad appeal. Too many people are discounting the base support needed to take McCain to victory. Without the core Conservative base of the party, it’s going to be rough ride. Over 200 million people in this great US of A and we can’t come up with more dynamic, qualified candidates for the office of President. The shame is Mrs. McCain might be right. Only a lot of voters might hold their nose with both hands leaving no way to pull the lever. span class=”Apple-style-span” style=”font-style: italic;”So they’ll just stay home on election day!/span

span class=”Apple-style-span” style=”font-size: small;”Benjamin Franklin once said at the signing of the Declaration of Independence that “We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hand separately.” So I have to wonder what they were thinking when the a href=”http://www.nj.gov/governor/news/news/2008/approved/20080129a.html”New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce/a backed Governor Jon Corzine’s plan for massive toll hikes on state highways. The very organization in place to have the best interest of business at heart sells out to politics. If you can’t count on the Chamber of Commerce to look after you, who can you count on. And for what? br //spandivspan class=”Apple-style-span” style=”line-height: 15px; “span class=”Apple-style-span” style=”font-size: small;” Hazel Gluck, Chamber executive committee member said “the Governor’s plan is the best option available on the table to us to fix the state’s fiscal problems. It is time for us to move forward and get to the business of growing the economy. The Governor’s plan will help us to achieve the goal of making New Jersey a pro-investment state.” Grow the economy, pro-investment? How do you grow the economy when you force businesses who use New Jersey toll roads to transports their goods to face huge increases in the cost of moving those goods? How is it helping grow the economy when working men and women are saddled with an 800% road tax? Who wants to invest in a state that chokes its residents and businesses with tax after tax? Not most businesses if you read how many companies are pulling up stakes and heading out of Dodge./span/spanbr //divdivspan class=”Apple-style-span” style=”font-size: 13px; line-height: 15px;” String up the noose.
